On April 28th, The Medical Faculty of International Ala-Too University will host its first "Student Symposium on Cholesterol".

Cholesterol, a fat-like substance, is produced by your body and also found in food. In general, it is an essential substance for your body to work and stay healthy.

However, too much cholesterol can damage the arteries and increase the risk of various types of diseases. This symposium aims to familiarize you with some cholesterol-related disorders and their functions. The students will present their research and discuss their work with you, to draw attention to a healthy life and a healthy future.
